Branding
Settings → Branding holds your logo and your two brand colours: a primary colour and an accent colour. Customers see them in the emails Uncog AI sends them for you and on their secure portal page, and your smart agent uses them on your website unless you give it its own. Every member can see the page; only Owners and Admins can change it.
Add or replace your logo
- Go to Settings → Branding.
- In Logo, choose Upload Logo (or Replace Logo) and pick a PNG or JPEG image. Other formats, including SVG, can't be used.
- Crop Logo opens. Drag the image and use the Zoom slider to frame it. Original keeps the whole image; Wide frames it the way the top of a customer email shows it; Square cuts a square. The tiles underneath show the result at the sizes customers will see: In emails (the header of their emails and their portal page) and In chat (the round icon on the smart agent's first screen and in the header of its conversation).
- Choose Use Logo.
The logo shows Checking… while Uncog AI checks it for security and resizes it to at most 512 pixels. Customers see it once the check passes. The Logo card shows it the way the top of a customer email does: under a band in your primary colour.
If the logo can't be used, the page says That logo couldn't be used: it failed the security check, or it couldn't be turned into an image. Upload another PNG or JPEG. To take the logo away, choose Remove Logo; customers then see your business name instead.
Change your colours
- Go to Settings → Branding.
- In Colours, choose Edit Brand Colours. A panel opens with the two colours at the top and a preview underneath.
- Pick each colour, or type it as # and six hex digits, such as #0f766e. Leave a colour blank to use Uncog AI's default.
- Switch the preview between Email, Portal and Smart Agent to see the colours where customers will. It follows what you type.
- Choose Save Changes.
Members can open the same panel with Preview, without the colour fields.
What the preview shows
- Email: the band across the top, your logo and the button in a customer email. The button uses your primary colour when the colour is dark enough for its text to read easily; otherwise the email keeps the standard button colour, and the preview says so.
- Portal: your customers' secure page. When both colours are easy to read, its buttons and links use them; a colour that is too light keeps the standard buttons, and the band across the top still uses your primary colour.
- Smart Agent: the chat panel and the chat button on your website. The smart agent always uses your colours. When the primary colour is too light to outline the selected button, it uses the accent colour (or dark grey) for that outline instead. The round icon at the top of the panel is your logo, fitted into a circle; to give the smart agent a square icon of its own, see Smart Agent.
Good to know
- Your business name, ABN and contact details are on Business Profile, not here. The name customers see with your logo is your portal display name (Settings → Smart Agent → Workflows → Settings), or your account name.
- A new logo gets a new web address, so an email a customer already has keeps showing the old logo for as long as their mail program holds a copy.
