How do I connect a mailbox?

Go to Settings → Mailboxes, choose Connect Mailbox, and continue to Google (Gmail) or Microsoft (Microsoft 365 / Outlook). Access is read-only: Uncog AI never sends, drafts, labels, moves or deletes your email. Some organisations using Microsoft 365 need their administrator to approve Uncog AI first.

Importing the mailbox’s calendar (Google Calendar or Outlook Calendar) is a separate choice on the same page.

What is Review?

When Uncog AI finds a new contact, a changed detail or a date in your email, it either updates your records or, if it isn’t sure, puts a suggestion in Review for a person to accept or dismiss. Choose how much is automatic in Settings → AI.

How do I disconnect a mailbox?

Go to Settings → Mailboxes and disconnect it. For Gmail, this revokes Uncog AI’s access with Google. Microsoft has no way for Uncog AI to withdraw its own access, so for a Microsoft mailbox also remove Uncog AI from your Microsoft account’s app permissions.

You can also choose to remove everything Uncog AI took from that mailbox.
