AI Settings

Settings → AI controls how much of what Uncog AI reads in your email it applies automatically, and how much waits for a person in Review.

Change the settings

  1. Go to Settings → AI.
  2. Change any of the settings below.
  3. Choose Save Changes.

New mail is analysed with the new settings. Mail that was already processed is not redone.

Contact Details

  • Fill In Details (the default): details Uncog AI is at least 60% sure of fill empty fields straight away, and keep details Uncog AI filled in earlier up to date. Anything less sure, and anything that disagrees with a value you or your team entered, waits in Review.
  • Review Everything: no contact or company detail is written without a person. Everything Uncog AI finds waits in Review. Emails are still filed on the timeline of contacts you already have, each with a summary.

Uncog AI never overwrites a value a person entered.

Dates and Meetings

  • Add Confident Dates (the default): a date an email states plainly becomes a calendar event. Anything less certain waits in Review.
  • Review Every Date: every date Uncog AI reads in the words of an email waits in Review.

With either choice, meeting invites always become events. A cancellation Uncog AI reads in an email is always a suggestion. It is never applied automatically.

Daily Analysis Budget

How many emails can be analysed per day across the whole account, from 0 to 10,000. The default is 500. Setting it to 0 pauses analysis entirely.

When the budget runs out, remaining mail waits until midnight in your account's time zone. Owners and admins are notified once. The mailbox shows "The daily analysis budget is used up. Analysis resumes after midnight."

Backfill Days

How much past mail a newly connected mailbox imports, from 1 to 365 days. The default is 90. Mailboxes already connected are not affected. A first import is also capped at 2,000 messages.

The Pipeline card

Below the settings, the Pipeline card shows what Uncog AI has done with your mail today: Analysed today, Messages recorded, Waiting in Review, Active mailboxes and Mailboxes needing a reconnect.

Good to know

  • Only owners and admins can see and change Settings → AI.
  • An accepted suggestion counts as a person's change, so Uncog AI won't overwrite it later.
  • Values Uncog AI filled in show an AI badge ("Filled automatically from email"). The badge disappears once a person edits the field.
